LOG EVIDENCE & REPORT IT

Holding to Account Those Who Govern

Local residents have lived with the effects of local quarrying for decades. Despite regular occurrences of road spillages, dust in and around homes etc, very few incidents have been reported to agencies who oversee those responsible for governance at local government level. We need help to hold them to account.

Please register incidents first with the EA (or equivalent organisation) so there is an official record of the event. This gives us much more to work with when pushing for action and recognition of existing conditions.

Local Government must uphold their legal and moral responsibilities to protect their constituencies. They should deliver safe environments and safeguard residents' rights, health, and well-being. This includes clean air, water, and safe open spaces. We expect Local Authorities to lead with equitable principles and fairness. The heartbeat of a nation is its people, their well-being should be the compass of guiding governance.
